25 years of Class 50s on the SVR and on the main line, celebrated on a 90 minute DVD.
When 50031 Hood arrived at Severn Valley Railway in 1992, few people would have predicted that twenty five years later there would be a total of five of the Class based at Kidderminster.
Furthermore, three of them would eventually be certified to work on the main line again.
This film features many highlights of 25 years that followed Hood's arrival on the SVR.
Many main line workings are featured from around the country, as are many visits of the SVR Class 50s to other heritage railways.
Also included are all the major livery variations, as are all the surviving members of the Class which have visited the SVR since 1992. For good measure, there are also a number of unusual freight workings.
Last but not least, there is an exclusive interview with BR's former Plymouth Area Fleet Manager Geoff Hudson, who maintained BR's Class 50 fleet at Laira in their final years.
Running time: 1 hour and 30 minutes
Locomotives featured: 50007, 50008, 50015, 50026, 50031, 50035/50135, 50044 and 50049/50149.
